Last updated: 14 May 2026 · Pyfib Ltd ("Pyfib", "we", "us")
This policy describes how we process personal data when you use our website at https://pyfib.com, contact us, read our blog, or work with us on funding intelligence, software delivery, or related engagements. It is intended to be clear and practical; it is not legal advice.
Who we are
Pyfib Ltd is a company registered in Kenya. Registered office: Lumumba Drive, Ideal Properties, 00100 Nairobi, Kenya. Contact: [email protected] · +254 768 293946.
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Website and technical data: standard server and connection information (for example IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps) needed to operate and secure the site.
- Communications: information you send when you email us, use WhatsApp or other channels we publish, or submit enquiries through the site (name, organisation, message content, and contact details you provide).
- Blog and content services: our blog is served from this site; related editorial workflows may use cloud infrastructure (including Google Firebase: Firestore, Storage, and related services) to store posts, media assets, and operational metadata needed to run the blog.
- Client and project work: if you engage us for funding intelligence, product development, or consulting, we process the business and contact information, technical materials, and messages necessary to deliver and administer those services, as agreed with you.
How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- Respond to enquiries and support requests;
- Operate funding intelligence and WhatsApp-based outreach where you have opted in or initiated contact;
- Publish and manage blog content;
- Meet legal, regulatory, and security obligations;
- Protect our rights, users, and systems from abuse or fraud.
Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as operating a secure website and growing a sustainable business), and consent where we ask for it—for example before sending non-essential marketing messages.
Sharing and processors
We use reputable infrastructure providers (including cloud hosting and Firebase services operated by Google) to store and process data. They act on our instructions and under contractual safeguards appropriate to the service. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Kenya. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers) alongside technical and organisational measures.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Blog content may remain published until updated or removed as part of normal editorial operations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 where it applies), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at [email protected]. For deletion requests, see also our data deletion page.
Children
Our site and B2B services are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do; for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
Mobile products
Apps and products we ship or co-publish (for example listings on Google Play) may have their own privacy notices and permissions. Those notices apply to use inside those apps in addition to this site-focused policy.
